One of my all time favorite ways to display
wedding centerpieces is in footed urns. The slight elevation gives
the floral display more "oomph". Even a relatively small
arrangement will have a large presence when displayed in a garden
urn.
For the best results, choose flowers with
a fresh-picked appearance like garden roses, peonies, and hydrangeas
mixed with trailing greens. The centerpiece should be arranged with
a slightly natural shape for a more organic feeling. Naturally a
garden urn centerpiece will look wonderful for a garden wedding
reception, but it also works beautifully in a country club, historic
inn, or tented site.
